  3. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this is top 3 on LA party history including the current incarnation of the scene. The production was above and beyond what anyone was expecting. I still remember those damned lasers and one of the greatest mobile DJ booth ever assembled.

  4. Yes! It was kind of surreal. You would be speaker jacking with a couple of hundred people behind you and you look up and there are all these crazy monitors with crazy visuals and to top off crazy ass lasers right above that. I still remember waiting outside and thinking the Shrines’ doors were going to fall off from all the bass.

  6. I agree with Pedro808’s previous post. I remember thinking that those big glass windows were going to just shatter because of all that bass. GOOD TIMES!

  7. I’m from the UK, was a raver back in those times, I’m 40 now. But I’m off to do some acid next week for the first time in about a decade. Yippee. I’ve always loved Scott Hardkiss since I first heard Raincry. That and FSOL Papua hit the sweet spot exactly between da funk and the cosmic. But what the hell is the track that comes in after Papua New Guinea first time round? Anyone? It’s awesome.
