It may say #9...but this is the first in Buzz's "Acid Hits" series. The first tape I was able to take home with me. Acquired from Buzz at the Casa in Feb 1991 for $5. Probably Synergy or ESP. I rememb...

Somehow I always end up at this tape. Such a gem. Very smooth, futuristic (at the time) breakbeat. Chris has always been one of LAs best kept secrets. So technical.

Man I used to love Qube 45 The Sequel over a system. The claps in a warehouse were so crisp.

Definitely 1992.

Thank you Softboiled!! Both of those are sick and I've never heard of before. Well done my friend!! Jono Howard... I'm glad you put "Nature Boy" beside your name because I had no idea that was you. A...

This mix (to me) sounds like Doc came over to somebody's house after a gig and was just fucking around and they threw a tape in and hit record. Definitely not 1990. Sounds like late 1991 and possibly...

Bad ass!!! Love that you can click a mix. Any other circa's posted? 96 would be dope.

It took digging through a few crates, but I remembered what the B side at 21:15 is! It's Signs of Chaos - Funky Frequencies on Rising High. And 15:28 on Side B is Funky Junky - Rushin (Mental Mix)
