  1. We followed Eli Star to some of the craziest venues in the early 90’s to watch him spin and he would call you to see if you were going to show up, always had a great time!!!

  2. Eli always spun a deep and cerebral mix. Loved his residency at Sketch Pad. If anyone here was at SP then you know we all had a great time!

  3. Ah yeah Magic Wednesdays at that old Sunset spot was a regular of that era. Many good memories from there and I think it was Lulu (sp) I used to buy mixtapes from every week

  6. Hey, you guys are awesome for assembling the partial track list above. Much appreciated! I’m a bit late to the party & only discovered Eli Star a few years ago, but I love most of his tapes. They’re all incredible.

If anyone sees this at some point & can identify the third track in on side A, I’d love to know what it is. It starts at like 11:55 & it’s the one that opens with the Flower Duet sample, and then moves into some chanting. If this helps at all, this song also appears on a tape called ‘Kiss the Sky’ by Thomas Michael. He uses it as the opener on side B. Thanks!
