Ron D Core & DJ Dan – DX2 (Part 3)
Mar 30th

The third and final mixtape from the original DX2 series, by DJ Dan and Ron D Core, recorded live in November of 1992. A month prior to this, on October 3rd, 1992, Ron D Core had a crate of records stolen from a club called Fantastic that was held at The Casa in Los Angeles. The inside cover of this tape had a “Wanted Dead or Barely Alive!” request for the thief.

This is the second mixtape from the DX2 Project by DJ Dan & Ron D Core. This is the original issue, released in 1992, though there was also a reissue released in 1996. I thought it would be a nice follow up to the No Doz mix.

This is the first of 3 DX2 tapes from two of LA’s original oldschool hardcore techno DJs: DJ Dan and Ron D Core. If you remember the after-hours No Doz then you undoubtedly remember this tape.
