If you want the taste with juicy hits, you’ll love a premium bass style. Most others add water to concentrate but Citrusonic pure premium bass style is NOT from concentrate. There’s nothing added and nothing taken away. So SHAKE IT!
This mixed tape was recorded live, in May of 1992, at Citrusonic and features the sounds of Doc Martin. A number of the Citrusonic flyers, along with some T-Shirts, were designed by Fresh Jive. More mixes from Doc are available here

Special thanks to Tef of CPU101 for hooking this one up.
Us & Them, recorded in 1992 under the name Hidden Threat Productions, was the first mixed tape from DJ Thee-O and The Kandyman.
I caught up with Thee-O a couple of weeks ago and he was kind enough to lend us pretty much the entire Biohazard catalog and some other goodies you won’t want to miss – so stay tuned! If you haven’t heard him play in a while you should check out this mix by Thee-O and Barry Weaver, recorded at Monday Night Social on Monday March 16th, 2009 at Nacional in Hollywood.
I was able to ID all but 3 of the tracks on the Thee-O side, but drew a blank with most of The Kandyman’s side. If you’re able to fill in any blanks please post them in the comments.
This mix by DJ Trance was recorded live, on September 1st, 2002, at the third Bassrush event in Los Angeles. This was the first Bassrush where the main room was Drum & Bass and also the first to be held at what is now Vanguard LA. The lineup for the event was Roni Size, Adam F, DJ Craze, Usual Suspects, Reid Speed, Deacon, DJ Trance, R.A.W., Fester, Simfonik, DJ Surreal and Mindbender.
This mixed tape by Barry Weaver, from 1992, was released by The Milky Way Acid House Family (Mike Paris). I ran into Mike several years ago, he’s working in real estate, and he didn’t have any tapes saved unfortunately. These Milkyway rave tapes are pretty elusive now; so if anyone has any others, especially any of the Steve Loria tapes, please let me know.
