  1. This is the set I remember out of all of them. Also this is the set that comes out on the news broadcast. Do you know where your children are? LOL. Yes, doing ballons on some far ass hell indian reservation…lol.

  2. I remember an indian reservation somewhere down in San Diego, too. For a while I got into the SD scene because I had friends down there. Jon Williams was often at the pre-parties and after parties.

  3. @ 55:00 Ave Maria ‘No Sex Until Marriage’ NYC Mix… Remember going mental when this track came on!

@33:00 Powerpill ‘Pacman.. Never felt such crushing bass. Felt like I was getting punched in the chest. Actually contemplated leaving the speakers but was scared I wouldn’t be able to get my spot back. HAHAHA!

  4. Thank you TEF and SimfoniK Barry is such a monster on the decks, what an bad azz set. huge tracks

  5. 27:40…..I use to bug Barry about this track all the time. My favorite track that only he would play back in the day. i used to call it the “airplane” song…derrrr…I must have stumbled over to him half a dozen times….sometimes through heavy security…to ask the name of this track. And every time he would tell me the title too!!! Of course I would never remember what the fucking track was the next day.lol And what would a proper oldschool set by Barry Weaver be without sending the train in 57:40!!! Anybody know the track at 109:40?
What a fantastic set this is here by Barry. Definitely showcasing his talents. Guy can MIX proper! And has a great ear for what sounds ill. Add in the Shrine….virgin location with $$$ put into it…..and all the other A+ dj’s. Made for an incredible evening I must say. My only complaint…no paint room. hahaha jk

  6. Yo Josh, I remember that track at 27:49…it was a white label that I could never find….I used to drool over that cut when he would bust it …too many memories..back then all I did every weekend was carry Barry’s records around and block the decks when he played so the record wouldn’t skip….that record played out into noise and he would always drop some bananas shit to it….damn, those were the days…and that train…signature Barry, which blew my mind when DJ Dan and Jim Hopkins bit that shit for their track Electroliners….as for that track at 109:40….who knows?

  7. Been working on a tracklist for this set. There’s still a lot left to ID, so if anyone wants to pitch in, that would be great. I know I recognize at least a handful more of these, but I have to do some more digging. Barry said he would try and help as well. Hopefully between all of us, we can put this puzzle together. As well we should, because it’s a hell of a set!

  8. OMG that tune @ 27:40 is the business – I remember it – don’t have it – no idea what it is – guess it’s a rare white label – but let’s find out (Barry?!) – what a great set of lesser known tunes :)

  9. 17:11 – Precious X Project – Dukkha

@46 is Todd Terry aka Orange Lemon – Dreams Of Santa Anna, the 1992 remix with the “What’s the Difference” sample.

  10. Awesome, thanks for the updates guys. I totally should have known that Program 2 one. Just couldn’t remember the name.

The tune right after the Dukkha tune should be pretty easy to spot. It is also on Ron’s side of DX2.

  11. Hmmm, not showing so posting again, perhaps he doesnt like hyperlinks ;0)

  12. Good job Bunker!!! That Cabaret Voltaire track is sick! The track before Orange Lemon is DJ Phantasy- Let’s Go remix

  13. Wow, thanks to everyone for collectively completing most of the tracklist. i know i couldn’t have done it myself…very impressed with all the knowledge you all possess.

with that, i’ll add to the list. the track with the runout locked groove, pressed on white vinyl (josh: the airplane track) is a Mescalinium United record called “Reflections Of 2017” – still one of my fave techno records of all time. serious, dark, heavy, relentless and futuristic – even now…

  14. Thank you Barry….Your a HUGE inspiration and really fucking EXCELLENT DJ. Keep doing your thing bro!

  15. Absolutely loving this site! Wasn’t Tef recording this event for some documentary? I had just discovered Barry’s awesome sets and was in complete awe that evening. Anyone remember the giant Oscar statue still outside left from the Academy Awards? Just Awesome.

  16. I just added the majority of these records to my Discogs wantlist, thanks for ID’ing these tracks guys!
