I used to go to these parties back in the day in Sacramento. They were great. I believe this one went down in the basement of a downtown Sacramento building off of 10th street.

This was either late '93 or '94, can't remember. By the looks of the cassette, I recorded that off DAT for Ernie... how's you get a copy, Lou? LOVING it.
FYI, at Wicked I found out that Ernie's been in the UK for a number of years now.
The downtown location you speak of Rudy was the basement of the Capital Plaza Towers. Loved that sweaty, spring loaded dance floor amidst the secret underground storage tunnels!

I had an excellent listen to this mix. Especially the second side. Got schooled on that "Nation of Noiz - Xes Noiz" which lead me to a nice re-issue available that also has "Lockgroove - Feel the Joy" on it as well that I decided to splurge on. Sick. Nice spot!! I'm also extremely pleased with myself for spotting Redux - Da-Da Dancing (Part 1) at 14:00 on Side 2. It's an old Peter Daou record that has quite a few interesting tracks on it. I had completely forgotten about it but I knew I used to have it. "Redux" suddenly popped in my head and I looked it up. Pretty sure I bought that one off of Doc at Prime Cuts.
