This is a live DAT recording of Ron D Core from the second Bassrush event, held in Los Angeles on Friday, June 7th, 2002. Bassrush originally started out as a semi-monthly 100% oldschool techno event. Drum & Bass was added to the second room for this particular night and, beginning with the third Bassrush, it would be the sound of the main room going forward.

I first heard DJ Trance at a club called ‘What?’ in Los Angeles. I’ve heard him play countless times since then, both live and via his mixed tapes, and he always delivers with creative mixing and an amazing selection.
